Sean’s work as MG’s art director incorporates his multidisciplinary design skills, which enhance our extraordinary deliverables, all reflecting the value, heart and soul of our clients.
Sean translates the attributes and values that define our clients’ brands and campaigns into visual communication that is memorable and relatable. Over his almost ten years with Metropolitan Group, Sean has become deeply rooted in our strategic approach to communication, while also bringing a fresh perspective of having worked in both the traditional agency landscape and as an in-house designer for consumer audiences.
His areas of expertise include:

- Name and tagline development
- Materials design
- Content development for social media
- Campaign development and design
Sean has had the exciting professional opportunity to work with brands such as Apple, Dreamworks, Disney and HP in an agency setting and served as an in-house designer for Pottery Barn Kids.
Sean has a Bachelor of Arts in graphic design from California State University Sacramento.
Sean has provided creative pro bono design services to Portland Public Schools and Portland Archives and Records to promote community events. He has also participated and contributed artwork to be auctioned to benefit community organizations such as the Portland Art Museum, WeMake and The Keep A Breast Foundation.
In his free time, Sean loves kayaking, hiking, camping, sticker-collecting, traveling, illustration, donut blogging and hazy IPAs.
