Using his sharp eye for detail, Nate makes sure all of MG’s deliverables are crafted to perfectly meet our clients’ and partners’ needs.

Nate’s work helps organizations and initiatives share their value, communicate their intentions and build support and public will. He works on reports, newsletters, fact sheets, presentations, social graphics, infographics, email, branding and visual identity. His areas of expertise include:

  • Creating visuals to help explain complex concepts
  • Organizing information into an intuitive hierarchy
  • Efficiently building a library of materials from a single design direction
  • Adjusting, refining and iterating designs until they’re just right
  • Catching and flagging potential issues before they arise

Experience

Nate has been a designer for more than 20 years, in both print and interactive fields, working on such brands as Apple, Dreamworks, HP, Intel, Tektronix, GE, Freightliner, Quaker, Northwest Airlines and Nike.

Nate has a Bachelor of Arts in Media Studies with a focus on graphic design and photography from Pomona College.

In Community

Nate has worked with several local organizations on state and local politics, transportation and urban planning. 

Nate is a native Portlander who loves to cook, camp, dance, and hang out in the great Oregon outdoors. He also enjoys art in many forms, such as books, movies, music and theatre.
