Paul Koehler

project manager

“Each of us is an artist of our days; the greater our integrity and awareness, the more original and creative our time will become.”
― John O'Donohue

Paul is a native Oregonian and comes to the Metropolitan Group with a decade of experience working in education and social service organizations centered around equity. His sense of community and social justice drives his work for organizations that are making an impact both here and nationally. Paul brings this experience to his work as a project manager at MG.

Paul’s career started in Brooklyn, New York, where he ran school operations and strategy for a K-8 inner-city charter school. Since then he has worked for organizations such as Volunteers of America, Relay Graduate School of Education and All Hands Raised, a collective impact organization. He has served on the board of directors for Trillium Charter School and has volunteer experience with Greater Than PDX and Concordia’s 3 to PhD program. Paul graduated from the University of Redlands with a bachelor’s degree in education.

Paul and his family spend their weekends enjoying everything Oregon has to offer, from the coast to the mountain ranges, and all the food and beverages in between.
