Matt Baer
Matt is passionate about helping mission-driven organizations better tell their stories and achieve their goals.
As a senior project manager, Matt brings his commitment to productivity and purpose to his work and clients. He thoughtfully executes project goals and deliverables co-created by MG and our wide range of clients. His keen project oversight is a major asset to the organization.
His areas of expertise include:
- Development of strategic work plans and budgets
- Oversight of key deliverables and execution of ongoing client partnership
- Partnership with clients on project oversight and team collaboration
Experience
Prior to working at Metropolitan Group, Matt worked and volunteered with nonprofits and community-based organizations focused on local farming, urban planning and young adult education including EcoDistricts in Portland, Oregon; Local Food Hub in Charlottesville, Virginia; PB&J Fund in Charlottesville, Virginia.
Matt has a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Sciences and Urban Planning from the University of Virginia.
In Community
Matt spends his time hiking and exploring the Pacific Northwest with his wife and their dog, cooking and enjoying local produce, and competing in triathlons.
