Circle of Tribal Advisors: public awareness campaign
Forty American Indian tribes convened to launch a public awareness campaign emphasizing tribal “survival” and cultural and environmental resource protection. The campaign, created in conjunction with the Bicentennial commemoration of the Lewis and Clark Expedition, invites the public to visit Indian nations along the Lewis and Clark National Historic Trail, to understand American Indian perspectives on the Bicentennial, and to learn about vibrant American Indian cultures today. Metropolitan Group led the effort to secure donated media, provided strategic counsel to the Circle of Tribal Advisors, and secured Ad Council endorsement for this campaign that was launched in 2004 and will continue through 2006.
