Nicole (Nikki) Carter

Senior Associate

Nikki provides support on a variety of client projects as a senior associate. She has worked extensively on communication capacity-building projects, including marketing, advocacy and partnership trainings for libraries throughout Washington state.

Her interest in formative and qualitative research has led to her involvement in a variety of focus group and executive interviewing projects at MG.  She helped facilitate focus groups for Sacramento Public Library’s marketing assessment. She has conducted audits of materials for several clients and supported the team that helped develop for NYAC (the National Youth Advocacy Coalition) the You Know Different campaign to increase HIV testing and test retrieval.

Additional clients include the Public Library Association, Oregon Health & Science University, Stockton-San Joaquin County Public Library, State Library of North Carolina, Houston Public Library, Multnomah County Library, Center for Community Change and the Oregon Sesquicentennial.

A graduate of Oregon State University, Nikki brings knowledge of communication practice and theory from her undergraduate studies in speech communication. She and her husband, Kyle, are enjoying life as newlyweds, spending their free time working on projects around their new house. They follow sports avidly, especially Beaver football, and have strong family connections throughout the West, particularly in Nevada and Southern California.
