Imani Greene is a seasoned media planner and buyer with more than fifteen years of experience at worldwide agencies including McCann-Erickson, Saatchi & Saatchi and Ogilvy. She adds smart, strategic paid media know-how to the communications activities of a broad spectrum of clients. Imani works across all media types, including television, radio, print, out-of-home, digital, and countless non-traditional vehicles.

Imani often works on campaigns in which advertising is the primary focus of the communications agenda, such as a recent multi-year national buy for HUD/FHA. But most frequently she works hand-in-hand with agencies and advertisers to produce paid-media campaigns that support larger communications efforts. Examples have included work on the behalf of advertisers and agencies such as Motient Wireless Data Solutions, New Jersey Cancer Trial Connect, Hyphen Health, Preventive Research Initiative, Paragon Media and the Sawtooth Group.

Imani got her media start in New York City at Saatchi and Saatchi, where she was initiated across all media for Toyota Motors. From there she moved down Madison Avenue to McCann-Erickson, working on campaigns that included US Air and packaged goods like Unilever and Good Humor Breyers. While at McCann Erickson, Imani was part of the team that was awarded MediaWeek's Media Plan of the Year ($10-25MM category) for work done for Smith Barney.

Imani's professional path next took her to a New York City media planning/buying service, to a reputable mid-size agency in New Jersey and then to Ogilvy in Washington DC. On this path, she worked on a number of high-profile accounts that included Toys R Us, Black Opal Cosmetics, Horizon Blue Cross and Blue Shield of New Jersey, Coldwell Banker, National Institutes of Health, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services and DC Department of Health HIV/AIDS Services.

Imani graduated from Hampton University with a bachelor of arts in mass media arts, with an emphasis in broadcast journalism.
