Public Health

At Metropolitan Group we are dedicated to helping people live healthier lives. We believe passionately that everyone has a right to live in a healthy environment, have access to health services and health care, receive clear information and make informed choices. Our efforts have helped teens access health services, supported at-risk pregnant women, prevented deaths by heroin overdose, reduced secondhand smoke by motivating restaurant owners to ban smoking in their establishments, prepared health departments for health outbreaks or bioterrorism, and communicated vital issues about end-of-life care to communities of color. Our resource development team has also raised millions of dollars for health programs and services, and for new and renovated facilities.

Whether we are working on a new powerful brand, identifying new donors, crafting a public will building campaign, forming a grass roots coalition, developing legislative strategy, writing and designing program materials and online strategies or conducting community visioning sessions that are culturally relevant our core priorities are ensuring that we collaborate, build capacity and create results.
