Tanya has more than 19 years of broad-ranging experience—including online marketing, Web design, public affairs, fundraising, political organizing, direct marketing and media relations. She serves as MG’s of counsel online strategist, consulting with clients on branding, fundraising and online marketing strategies.
Recent current clients include the Illinois Department of Human Services, Americans for the Arts Action Fund, Catalyst, West Hollywood Library, and Oregon Public Health Division’s Tobacco Prevention and Education Program.
Tanya was the senior Web marketing manager at Mercy Corps, where she led online fundraising, marketing and advocacy efforts for the highly regarded international relief and development organization.
As a leader in the nonprofit technology field, she is a frequent speaker and has appeared at the Nonprofit Technology Conference, ePhilanthropy’s eTour and Web of Change.
Tanya lives in a "perpetually under construction" Portland bungalow with her architect husband and two cats. She enjoys event planning, cooking, entertaining and crochet. She is one of 10 stewards of 40 acres of beautiful land in the Columbia River Gorge, where she is helping build an alternative energy cabin.
